The Hospital Authority today announced that two COVID-19 patients passed away, taking the number of COVID-19 patients who died in public hospitals to 69.

 

A 78-year-old male patient was admitted to Queen Mary Hospital on July 28 due to COVID-19 infection. His condition continued to deteriorate and he succumbed at 3.16pm.

 

A 90-year-old male patient with chronic illness was admitted to United Christian Hospital on July 28 due to fever, cough and sore throat. His condition continued to deteriorate and he succumbed at 7.08pm.
