The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating three additional COVID-19 cases, taking the number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong to 5,049.

Among the new cases, two are locally transmitted and one is imported.

The two local cases involve a 64-year-old woman and a 4-year-old boy, who live in Hung Hom and Tuen Mun.
